Updated Publicity Plan

After conversing my ideas with the Music Vox committee and Nigel, there was one concern about the plans that halted the development of content:
Would anyone participate in the scavenger hunt?

Well based on previous occasions of a similar idea from the TP account, I thought that it actually would do pretty well. However, there were earlier suggestions to bring it outside of school, which is where I believe most of the concerns proved to be valid.
Another concern was with the order of posts itself. Some were unsure if it was necessary to bring back mentions of the EP as I had originally planned, as our focus should be on the LP. There was also concerns on what should be prioritised.

After discussing further with the committee, we formulated a new formation of posts and a new format of giveaway, one would that be based solely online and accessible to all. This new giveaway would have 3 opportunities - over the course of about 3 weeks, each week 1 post with an edited snippet of a title song in the LP would be shared. These audios would have blanks, of which the audience's goal is to comment their most creative idea to fill in that blank, and tagging friends. This type of giveaway post is something often used by bigger companies such as Universal Music SG, and Sony Music SG, so it was not too difficult to assume that results were possible.
This shifted the "scavenger hunt" completely online as well, which meant that people wouldn't need to work so hard to get a simple reward. Anyone and their dog could participate if they wanted to! Tagging friends as a requirement would boost who saw the posts, and help spread the word, and if our visuals were strong, even if they didn't listen to our music the art would be good enough to motivate them to participate.
As I reflected on this new plan, I realised that though it was good to be bold in your plans and try something new such as a scavenger hunt, sometimes being simple can also work to your benefit and it was not backtracking if we decided to go ahead with it.
